Designed to release tension, this deep tissue massage uses trigger point therapy and rehab techniques in combination with soothing traditional Swedish strokes. It deeply relieves both muscles and connective tissue tension, helps to improve range of motion and heal injuries below the surface. It is great for relieving cramped and overused muscles.

Traditional Thai Massage

Traditional Thai Massage originates from Thailand and is known as Nûat Borān. It is a combination of traditional Thai bone setting and herbal healing techniques. It is influenced and often blended with Indian Ayurvedic treatments and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Also referred to as "lazy yoga", Thai Massage incorporates elements of stretching and traditional Hatha Yoga. Additionally, it stimulates energetic centers known as Sen lines, which mirror Marma Points and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Meridian Lines.

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”), originating in India, by way of the Atharva Veda, and Tibet, it was rediscovered in Japan in the late 1800. The lineage practiced in our treatments was developed by ’s Dr. Mikao Usui, currently surviving as the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki lineage . It is a very simple yet powerful healing art. Involving a form "laying-on of hands" natural healing technique.This thousand+ year old approach grounds you into a personal experience of life's universal healing energy. Practitioners channel universal life force in a particular pattern to bring forth healing and harmony.

Reflexology

Foot reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet or hands. The theory behind reflexology states that these areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that applying pressure to the points has a beneficial effect on the organs and person's general health. Each reflexology session can be customized and performed in a stand-alone session (fully clothed) or following a massage therapy session. Although reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure health disorders, millions of people around the world use it to complement other treatments when addressing specific conditions.

I offer my experience as a trained facilitator through the Guilford College Conflict Resolution Resource Center, Transformational Coach through the Inner Journey Seminars, and NEDA certified Doula.
