After the devastations of war and genocide that we witnessed in my homeland, Rwanda, my family and I immigrated to the United States where I set out on an intentional three decade-long journey to heal and make peace.
I encountered many healers from first nations each with powerful answers. I was left with a few more questions than I had started with. So I wondered who could truly hold space for the kind of healing I was in need of. Was it the physicians with their volumes of medical text? Or was it the herbalists with their libraries of plant medicine? Or perhaps the medicine people with their compendia of wisdom and spirituality? I waited. And still the answer was illusive.

I am here to help skillfully hold the space for awareness and peace. You are not alone in birthing the change you wish to see in the world.
